TEMPORARY CLOSURE ANNOUNCED FOR THE CARRIGAN ROAD PEDESTRIAN BRIDGE

The City of Noblesville announced today that the Carrigan Road Pedestrian Bridge over Morse Reservoir will be closed beginning next Monday, December 3 (weather permitting) and is anticipated to be closed for five days.  The closure is necessary in order to perform work on portions of the wood decking which will allow for final closeout of the project.  Please note that there will be no vehicular traffic restrictions on the Carrigan Road Bridge—only the pedestrian bridge will be affected.  The city appreciates the understanding of the pedestrian trail’s users during this time of temporary closure.

Holiday Tree and Trash Schedule

Christmas tree curbside collection is December 26, 2012 through January 11, 2013, and will be on the same day and location as the resident’s trash / recycle collection. If your trash day occurs after the holiday, trash services will be delayed one day due to Christmas Day/New Year’s Day. Overage bags may be purchased at the Fire Departments and/or NSD for ($1.00) per bag.

Also, please do not overstuff your recycling and trash containers—if trash spills out, workers are not responsible for picking it up!
